Village Dental Hygiene is an independent oral care clinic, founded and operated by Tracy Pitt, a Registered Dental Hygienist. They are re-imagining what the oral hygiene experience can be and proudly setting a new standard for individualized patient care.

The Strategy

When Village Dental Hygiene, reached out to us about their independent oral care practice, we were immediately captivated by the brand's passionate energy. Words like modern, natural, whole health, accessible and innovative communicated the core truths of Village Dental Hygiene’s combination of holistic oral care services.

The strategy behind the identity is rooted in colour shape theory. Navy Blue is a calming colour that can stir up images of authority, confidence, success, trustworthiness, and security. Mint is associated with nature, life, peace, renewal, and freshness.

The fresh hues balances out the strong authoritative, navy blue. It connects the brand back to nature, water, whole and oral health. While white conjures feelings of cleanliness and efficiency.

The incorporation of white conveys a minimalist aesthetic with modern quality. With the understanding that the brand’s personality is about simplicity, purity, and transparency -- white is a natural accent choice.

The Result

The identity design approach is propelled by Village Dental Hygiene’s mission to educate patients that they have a choice when it comes to their dental hygiene treatment by offering both holistic and traditional dental hygiene methods in a soothing environment at a manageable cost.

The brand mark represents the traditional toothbrush intertwined with the whole health holistic philosophy, indicating there are choices and alternatives to dental care services.
